Terms & Conditions

Important: These terms govern your use of cartive.co.uk and any free discovery call. They do not govern paid consultancy services. Any paid engagement requires a separate written Service Agreement signed by both parties.
1. Who we are

This website is operated by Helen Tivey, a sole trader trading as Cartive (referred to as “Cartive”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Cartive provides fleet consultancy services to businesses in the United Kingdom.

Website: cartive.co.uk

Email: info@cartive.co.uk

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using the website, or by booking or attending a free discovery call, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a call. These terms apply only to the website and free discovery call; they do not themselves appoint Cartive to provide paid consultancy services.

3. Business users

The website and discovery call are intended for people acting for business or professional purposes. Cartive does not offer services for purchase through this website. If you are acting as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

4. Website content is not an offer

Website content describes Cartive and its services in general terms. It is provided for information and marketing purposes only and is an invitation to discuss your requirements, not a contractual offer, quotation, promise, guarantee or commitment to provide services. We may change, suspend or withdraw content or services described on the website at any time.

5. Free discovery calls

A discovery call is a complimentary, preliminary conversation to understand your business, discuss your fleet challenges and consider whether Cartive may be able to help.

  • There is no fee and no obligation on either party to proceed.

  • The call is not a fleet audit, diagnostic review, consultancy engagement or final recommendation.

  • Any initial observations are general and based on limited information that Cartive has not independently verified.

  • You should not make a material operational, financial, legal, safety or compliance decision solely on the basis of the call.

  • Do not provide personal employee or customer data, full fleet registers, passwords, payment information, sensitive commercial information or confidential material during the call unless a secure and appropriate process has first been agreed.

Personal information provided in connection with a call will be handled in accordance with Cartive’s Privacy Policy. A discovery call does not create a general duty of confidentiality or a non-disclosure obligation; one must be agreed separately in writing if required.

6. No client relationship or paid-services contract

No client, adviser, fiduciary or paid consultancy relationship is created merely because you:

  • visit or use the website;

  • submit an enquiry or exchange emails with Cartive;

  • book or attend a discovery call;

  • discuss possible scope, timing or fees; or

  • receive a draft proposal, estimate or other document stated to be “subject to contract”.

A contract for paid services will arise only when both you and Cartive have signed a separate written Service Agreement, including by electronic signature, unless Cartive expressly agrees another method in a document signed by both parties. Cartive will not be required to start work or provide deliverables before that agreement takes effect.

If a Service Agreement conflicts with these website terms, the Service Agreement will take priority in relation to the paid services.

7. Information, advice and outcomes

The website and free discovery call are not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, human-resources, health-and-safety, engineering, mechanical or other regulated professional. You remain responsible for obtaining specialist advice and verifying any legal, technical, compliance or safety decision before acting.

Cartive does not guarantee any saving, profit, return on investment, compliance result, vehicle availability, insurance outcome, reduction in incidents or other business result. The scope, assumptions, deliverables and responsibilities for any paid work will be set out in the Service Agreement.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that information you give Cartive is accurate, complete and current. You retain responsibility for your decisions, implementation, staff, suppliers, vehicles and compliance with applicable law. You must not rely solely on general website content or a free discovery call when making a material decision.

9. Website accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care over website content, but do not promise that it is complete, accurate, current or suitable for your particular circumstances. The website may be unavailable, interrupted or contain errors. We may update, restrict, suspend or withdraw all or part of it without notice and do not promise that it will always be available.
